The Rainbow Literacy Society provides various literacy programs to all ages in the County. They received the Literacy Alberta Award of Excellence in 2004.
Vulcan County Adult Learning Council offers an endless array of adult courses throughout Vulcan County.
The Nine In Line Arts Society promotes and facilitates the arts in and around the Vulcan area.
Public Schools in Vulcan County are in the Palliser School Division. There are also private schools in the community; Hope Christian School, Champion and Brant Christian School, Brant.
Family and Community Support Services develops locally driven preventative social initiatives to enhance the well being of individuals, families and communities.
Vulcan County lies between two major centers, which provides accessibility to 5 major post-secondary institutions. Lethbridge Community College, University of Lethbridge, Mount Royal College, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the University of Calgary are all within a reasonable driving distance.
